TERA

Description of TERA

TERA is a scenario-based training system compliant with federal standards such as those of the National Incident Management System (NIMS) and the Homeland Security Exercise Evaluation Program (HSEEP). TERA provides training and exercise scenarios and materials for ICS command-level and operational roles in the public transportation agency, state DOT, and airport emergency operations centers (EOCs) responding to and mitigating natural or manmade disaster incidents. TERA training and exercises can be customized for specific staffing and geographic characteristics. TERA accommodates individual training, team training, and multiagency training within one

framework and allows a mix of on-site and remote staff to participate collaboratively in tabletop exercises and training in real time.
