The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine invites you to a public release webinar of a new report on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 from 11am to 12pm ET. The report, Review of ICCOPR's 2022-2027 Oil Pollution Research and Technology Plan, provides advice and guidance on the approach, structure, adequacy, and implementation of the current version of the ICCOPR Research and Technology Plan that will ideally lead to improved knowledge, capactiy, and regulations to safeguard the environment. The report stresses the need for coordinated research efforts when it comes to oil spill prevention, preparedness, response, mitigation, and restoration.
Members of the report authoring committee will share key takeaways and have an opportunity to answer audience questions. The full report is available for free download here.
