Criteria for Community Participation in the Gulf Research Program’s Enhancing Community Resilience (EnCoRe) Initiative

Completed

The current study will help shape the design and implementation of the Gulf Research Program’s (GRP) Enhancing Community Resilience Initiative (EnCoRe). EnCoRe is a multi-year community engagement initiative that will partner with select communities in the five Gulf Coast states (FL, AL, MS, LA, TX) and the Cook Inlet region of Alaska to build and enhance health and community resilience at the local level. The selection of the communities is central to the success and the design of EnCoRe, and this study will position the GRP to employ an effective community selection process using clear and well-supported criteria.
