Description
A primer on the technical and policy issues of cybersecurity, building on over 2 decades of prior Academies work, would be developed under the auspices of a small study committee. The report would examine what is known about effective technical and nontechnical approaches, the state of art and open challenges, why relatively little progress has been made in cybersecurity despite the recommendations of many reports from the Academies and elsewhere, and potential policy responses.
