Please join the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine for a 1.5-day virtual workshop to explore collaboration as an important approach to fulfilling the role of Land-Grant institutions as drivers of community development, economic and educational opportunity, and the generation of knowledge and innovation locally and regionally. Organized by a National Academies ad hoc study committee, the workshop will explore the structures and platforms necessary to support sustainable collaboration with partners inside and outside the Land-Grant system.

Building on the findings of the National Academies’ report on Enhancing Coordination and Collaboration among Land-Grant Colleges and Universities, this workshop will examine multi-institutional, multi-stakeholder platforms, the essential ingredients for long-term success, metrics for measuring impact, and ways to communicate positive outcomes to policymakers and the public that support the public mission of Land-Grant colleges and universities.

Insights from this workshop will inform a brief consensus report outlining key strategies for building effective and high-impact collaborative platforms across the Land-Grant system.
